Almond Stew (Khoresht Badam) Recipe.
8 oz (227g) Stew Beef
6 oz (170g) Almonds
1 Onion
1/4 Tsp Saffron
2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
2 Tbsp Tomato Paste
2 Dried Limes
1 Cinnamon Sticks
1 Cup Dried Barberries (Zereshk)
Salt, Turmeric, Crushed Red Pepper
1- Soak the almonds in water for 4 hours or overnight.
2- Peel and Slice the almonds.
2- Soak saffron in water for 20 min.
3- Dice the onion.
